MCFLY DURING 2004

Tom and Danny started writing since 2002, together with James Bourne from a band called 'Busted'. When Dougie and Harry came in the band, After being formed as a band. They moved all moved in at their own band house where other songs were written for their first ever album called "Room on The Third Floor".

The title of the album has a mark on mcfly because way back in 2002 when Danny and Tom started writing, they stayed in a hotel... on the third floor. That was the room where most of the songs of the albums where written.

Their First ever single "Five Colours In Her Hair" entered the UK Singles Hit Chart at number 1.

 Their Second & Third single "Obviously" also topped the hit charts.

And then their First Album... the "Room on the Third Floor" debuted at number 1 on Album Hit Charts. They broke a record at the Guinness Book Of Records, a record that was previously held by non other than 'The Beatles" for being the youngest band to ever have a debut album enter the top charts at number 1.
